What’s Your Face Shape? Angular or geometric frames are a great way to add some definition to a round or oval-shaped face, and rounded frames can soften up the sharp angles of a square or triangular face. And certain styles, such as horn-rims, cat-eyes, and aviators, look great on nearly every face!
What’s your style? Whether you’re interested in something classic and understated or prefer something bold and funky, the frames you choose should be proportional to your face’s size and contours. Your sunglasses should also sit comfortably on both your nose and ears, and they shouldn’t pinch or slip.
Where will you be wearing your sunglasses? You should always choose sunglasses that offer superior UV protection, and polarized lenses are excellent for driving and boating because they reduce glare. If you’re going to be outdoors for extended periods of time, wraparound sunglasses might be a better choice than traditional sunglasses because they offer more coverage. You’ll want to buy impact-resistant frames and lenses if you plan on playing sports or participating in other rigorous physical activities this summer!
